About Us
Penistone Pine & Antiques is a family run business that have been trading for over 30 years out of the old railway buildings within Penistone Railway Station. We aim to provide a quality, reliable and friendly service to customers from Yorkshire and its surrounding areas.
The business was created out of the love of antique furniture and the enjoyment from working with quality, well made Victorian and farmhouse style furniture and doors. New furniture just isn't made the same any more and we want to ensure people have a place to come when they need that something special.
We also repair, modify and create pieces of furniture - all using quality reclaimed antique timber. It is impossible to get the same result from new and green timber - the wood has to age to look the way it does naturally.
We are handily located with free on site car parking and can also deliver those large items to your home safely and reliably. Our premises our rustic just like our furniture - but that's the way we like it!

Peter started the business in 1984 at the age of 18 Years of age in the old Penistone Railway Station buildings and has been in the same permises ever since.
It was started through sheer love of antique furniture, quality of workmanship and from working with quality of timber. Working with antique furniture is what Peter has done best for most of his working life and will probably remain to do so as it is what he knows best.
